Hello! I started learning Spanish a few years ago and loved learning the language, and had so much fun learning Spanish I decided to try and learn French and now I am learning German, I am at a preschool level at the languages, but it is still fun learning different languages and now I am teaching my grand children some of the new languages I am learning.
I am now teaching my grand daughter Spanish and thought I would show some of the fun activities we are using and making to learn Spanish.
I have decided to start keeping track of the fun videos, games and other activities that I do find for Spanish by making this free page for others who want some fun activities for themselves or for their children, daycare kids or kids in their classroom who are learning Spanish too.
I am trying to find fun easy Spanish activities that are made for kids, they usually have simple words and simple pictures, which makes it a lot easier for teaching young children.
I love learning Spanish with TPRS stories, and I am so thankful for the teachers who are nice enough to upload the videos, the videos seem to be for kindergarten and up, so these stories should work for most school aged children, you will probably want something a bit easier for your preschoolers.
Have fun learning and teaching Spanish to the children in your care!
Episode 1. Los Tres Osos {Scroll down on their website to find the video}
The Three Bears (Los tres osos) go for a walk because their soup is too hot to eat. Goldilocks (Ricitos de Oro) goes into their home and she ut-oh breaks Baby Bear's (Bebé Oso) chair. When the bears return home they find a broken chair and someone sleeping in baby bear's bed.
Goldilocks (Ricitos de Oro) goes back to the 3 bears (Los tres osos)home. She is sorry for breaking the chair and decides to make them some soup. But first she wants to find her friend, Little Rat (Ratoncito), to help her. The soup is too hot to eat so everyone goes for a walk, except for Salsa.
Goldilocks (Ricitos de Oro), Little Rat (Ratoncito) and the three bears (Los tres osos) start fixing baby bear's (Bebé Oso) broken chair. After it is fixed, they decide to paint it. They decide to paint it blue. Oh-no, Little Rat rocks in the new chair and it breaks!
Baby bear (bebé oso) plays a game of hide and seek with his new friends, Goldilocks (Ricitos de Oro), Little Rat (Ratoncito) and Salsa. Everyone hides and then Baby Bear searches for everyone, on the beds and under the tables, and waking Papa Bear's (Papá Oso) in the process. Once Little Rat and Goldilocks have turned up, everyone looks for Salsa, who they find in a green bowl – where he's having fun playing maracas.
These videos are done by different teachers, some are TPR, TPRS or incomprehensible input, they are different levels too, view to see which ones will work for you.
