Do you offer any items printed out?

No, we don't have any printed out items, all our materials are either a download or on a CD.

What type of files are the curriculum lesson plans?

They are PDF files, you can print out the files from our website or download the files to your computer and print them out later.

Do any materials come with the lesson plans?

No, we don't supply the materials, we do have a supply list for materials, supplies are usually basic items such as cotton balls, pom–poms, feathers, colored paper, crayons, paint, stickers and some recyclable items such as egg cartons, water bottles and boxes.

Do you sell your lesson plans in other languages?

No, sorry, they are only in English.

Where are you located?

We are located in Seal Harbor, Maine in the USA.

What is the difference between the download and the CD.

With a download you receive a password only, with the CD you will receive the download and all of the files on the download page on a CD and the CD will be mailed to you, the CD is mailed out usually within 24 – 48 hours, except for weekends and holidays then expect 72 hours.

I only received the password, where is the link to download?

Click here to go to our download area , scroll down the page to the item you purchased, click the drop down bar and select your item and then put in your username and password, if you can't get the drop down to work, click on the old page, which is posted at the bottom of the page, and access the download area from there, it goes to the same place but doesn't use java.

I never received an e-mail with a password or download link?

Please contact us right away; either by phone (800) 591-4135 or by e-mail kids@adaycare.com and we will immediately e-mail you out the password and download link.

AOL and sbcglobal are two of the email providers that do not always receive our e-mails after purchasing online. These type of emails are sent out from our auto responder, and some email providers view these emails as spam. We typically answer emails within one to four hours (Monday – Friday).

We are not open on the weekends, but we do check the emails (on weekends – expect up to four to eight hours before you get a reply).

I e-mailed you and I have not heard back, it's been over 24 hours?

We try to answer e-mails within an hour or two (Monday – Friday) or within 24 hours (on the weekends). If you do not hear back from us within 24 hours then we may not have received your e-mails. If you do not hear back from us within 24 hours please contact us by phone (800) 591-4135 .

Is my credit card information secure?

Yes, when you use your credit card to place an order your information is transmitted securely using state-of-the-art encryption.

Which types of payment methods do you accept?

You can place an online order using your Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover credit/debit card. Or you can place an order using paypal. Orders can be placed online or you can call in your order at (800) 591-4135 .

If you would prefer to mail in your order you can pay by credit card, money order or a business check, there is a 14 day hold on checks while waiting for them to clear the bank. Sorry, we don't accept checks from outside the USA.

I don't like to order online, can I call in my order?

Yes, we can accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover credit or debit card, please call (800) 591-4135 to place your order using a credit or debit card.

How long before I receive my download?

If you purchase with a credit or debit card online, you will receive your order instantly, at the end of your order click on the download tab or check your e-mail for the download link and password.

How long do I have to download my files?

Password Expiration:

One Month – Password is good for 30 days

Two Months – Password is good for 60 days

Three Months – Password is good for 90 days

Six Months – Password is good for 6 Months

Year Of Curriculum – Password is good for one year.

Will I be charged extra for shipping on my CD?

No, all of our CD's include the shipping in the price you see advertised on our website.

How will my CD be sent?

If you purchased a CD, it will be sent by the US Postal Service, please allow about 5 to 7 business days for your package to arrive (USA) Please Note: If you are located outside the USA then please allow two to three weeks for delivery by first class mail.

When will my CD be sent?

CD's are mailed out about 48 hours after order has been placed. Orders placed over the weekend will not be processed until Monday.

How long before I receive my CD?

We ship by the US Postal Service and our packages usually arrive within 3 to 5 business days. Please Note: If you are located outside the USA then please allow two to three weeks for delivery by first class mail.

What if I have more than 1 classroom?

Our lesson plans, ebooks, Spanish lesson plans or any of our products are for only one classroom, if you have more than one classroom that you want to use our materials in, then you would need to purchase one set per room.(this includes lesson plans, ebooks, printable pages, math packs, etc)

What if I own more than one center?

You would need to purchase each item separately for each center.

Can I share my password a co worker, a friend, etc?

No, passwords are not to be shared, anyone sharing a password, the password will be deactivated and no refunds, no exceptions! Passwords are for one classroom, one teacher, each classroom or teacher needs to purchase their own materials and receive their own password.

Do your products work on an Ipad?

We have an Ipad here and all the files open right up. But you may want to check to see that you can open up a PDF file first if you are going to use this on an Ipad. Click here, to see if you can open up the PDF file on your Ipad, if you can't then no it won't work on your device or you will need to find an app that will let you open up the PDF file. These files were made to be used on a computer or lap top with access to a printer and we don't recommend using them on an Ipad.

Do your products work on an Iphone?

Only if you can open up a PDF file, if you have a newer Iphone and you have Ibooks and save the PDF files to your Ibook area then the files may work, Click here, to see if you can open up the PDF file on your phone, if you can't then no it won't work on your device or you will need to find an app that will let you open up the PDF file. These files were made to be used on a computer or lap top with access to a printer and we don't recommend using them on an Iphone.

What is your return policy?

All sales are final. Where most of our products are downloads, you can't physically return a download. Some of our merchandise is sold as a download and on a CD and most stores do not take back CD's. They will offer a replacement CD and we will do the same. (within 90 days of purchase) Mail us back the CD that is not working and upon verification of your order (must be within 90 days of purchase) we will mail you out a replacement CD.

After purchasing any of our items, if you encounter any problems with any of our downloads or CD's just call us at 1-800-591-4135 or e-mail us at kids@adaycare.com and upon order verification of your purchase (must be within 90 days), we will try and help you get the problem fixed by:

Help by Telephone – we may be able to talk you through any problems you are experiencing.

Help by e-Mail – we can e-mail you out any files you are having trouble downloading.

Help by US Mail – we can send you out a replacement CD (within 90 days of purchase).

How do I know if the PDF files will work on my computer?

Click here, to see if you can open up the PDF files. If the file opens for you then you have the acrobat adobe reader on your computer.

If the PDF file above opens up for you, then you have the adobe acrobat reader on your machine. You may need to give the file a minute to load.

If it doesn't open then you don't have the adobe reader and you will need to download it. The adobe acrobat reader is free. Most computers are set up to automatically open PDF files in your browser, you will be able to view the file in a few seconds. If this process takes longer than a minute, you may want to save/download the file to your hard drive. On slower computers, computers on a dial up, or older computers, it is usually easier to download the files to your computer than try to open them online. Once the files are on your computer they will open right up.

If this file does not open up on your computer than you do not have the adobe acrobat reader. Please see below where to download the free reader.

How do I download the PDF files?

PC Users:

Use your mouse and right click on the file you wish to download. You should see a menu with a "Save to..." option. Choose this option, and save the file to your computer (either to a CD or to your computer's hard drive).

Mac Users:

Hold the control key and click on the download link, Or pause your cursor over the download link.

From the drop down menu which will appear, choose "Save Link As", "Save Target As", or "Save to Hard Drive". Then choose "Save to Desktop"or save in a folder of your choice.

I am trying to open a PDF file in my browser?

Click the file to open up the PDF file, if it doesn't open, you may not have the adobe reader on your computer or you may have the wrong version, you will need version number 5.1 or higher.

Where can I download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader?

The Adobe Acrobat Reader may already be on your computer.

How do I print PDF files opened in my browser?

To print a PDF files you have opened in your browser; use the File, Print command on your browser to print the document.

Printing Tips

I find it best to print out the lessons and daycare forms on copy paper and the printable games and posters onto card stock paper.

Some printers are set to reduce the size of PDF documents. *Please Note* When printing out the pdf files click on File -> Print and then look to the right hand side you should see a view of the picture that is about to print.

Just above that picture are some printing options. Where it says Copies and Adjustments. Click on the two that say Expand Small Pages To Paper Size and Auto Rotate And Center Pages. This will make it print out almost the size of your paper other wise it may print out to small.
