Our Valentine's Day activity is so much fun for the kids and so easy for you to set up!
This activity is a great way to help kids to use their fine motor skills.
Print out the penguin picture above onto white copy paper, you will need one for each child.
You will need 4 small squares of paper about half the size of a deck of cards. Write the number 0 on one card, 1 on the next...then 2...then 3
If the children in your group have no problem counting out 3 items then you may want to increase the numbers your using from {0 to 3} to 2 to 5 or 3 to 7, etc.
Lay the cards face down onto a low table or on the floor and mix them up, have the children take turns picking one of the cards. If the card they pick has a 2 on it, they will put 2 heart stickers
onto their penguin heart printable page. The first child to cover his heart is the winner.
Or you can have the children play together as a group without there being a winner. You can have the children fill up their card and then once their card is filled up they can place their heart
stickers onto a friend's heart to help their friends fill up their cards and everyone will play as a group until everyone has their penguin card filled up.
