Where is the 5? Here it is! Are some of the words you will hear when using this number activity page for teaching and reviewing the numbers 1 to 7 with the kids in your daycare or preschool.

You will need circle stickers with one number written on each sticker using the numbers 1 to 7 {twice}. The children will match up the numbers on the stickers to the numbers that are around the bear, have the children stick the circle stickers onto the matching numbers around the bear.

Our pompom color game is super fun for the kids and so easy for you to set up.

There Are Ten Teddy’s In The Bed

There are ten teddy’s in the bed
And the little one said,

Now there are nine teddy’s in the bed

So they all rolled over and one fell out

Repeat with numbers 8 through 2

On the last one say:

Now there is one teddy in the bed

And the little one said,
"ahh just right, nighty night!"

Print out the bed picture and laminate. You will need one bed picture for each child. Next, give each of the children 10 teddy bear grahams, cookies or crackers. You may want to put a tissue onto the picture and have them lay their teddy's onto the tissue and have them pretend there are ten teddy bears on the bed.

Each time the rhyme says roll over, have all the children genly roll over the teddy bears.

When the rhyme says one fell out have the children eat that one! yum yum!

Our lesson plans include a song or rhyme each day {5 days per week}.

You will need clothespins, circle stickers and three milk cartons! You will need to write the letters M, m, N, n, O and o onto the circle stickers and place these onto the clothespins.

This literacy activity will teach the kids this month’s letters MNO and it also will have them practice their fine motor skills by using the clothespins.

Teddy Bear Crackers Taste Test

Have the children sort the honey grahams into one pile and the chocolate teddy grahams into another pile.

During science time today the kids will have a taste test. The children will taste the honey teddy grahams and the chocolate teddy grahams and see which one they like best.

You can use teddy bear crackers or cookies, these crackers or cookies make a great learning tool for the kids as they can sort them, make patterns with them, count them and eat them, Yum Yum!
